I called DjI a couple months ago as I too had this problem occur and the customer service acted like they've never heard of this problem. I just came home from a shoot and guess what, I was logged out when it was go time and I blew the shot for work. My athletes hiked 3000 feet up a couloir here in the Wasatch and I couldn't get the drone 30M off the ground. I spent 30 minutes trying to find a wifi and use my phone as a hotspot. Ive never had this happen with any other drone and now it keeps reoccurring and I can't have this, what is the fix DJI and Mindy please don't answer with the same response. Yes my controller connect every time IM back home with wifi but why do I need wifi anyways? This sucks and the explorer mode mostly looks like doo doo.

I have had the same issue happen to me on a paid client shoot, crippled drone because of randomly logged out account, and no wifi or cellphone network available for me to fix it. I was shooting a forestry documentary, way out in the bush, away from any cellphone tower.
Never had an issue with Phantom 4, Mavic Pro, Mavic 2 Pro.
Please fix the Mavic 3 Not Logged In issue.
