Well, I don't think I can answer that question. But there are other sports that I don't understand (the fascination of).

I watched it all the way through and just can't for the life of me see what the fascination is to cricket.  Sorry, maybe it is just me and that slow pace.

It's a peculiar game where the weather can affect the result.  Stereotypically English

Definitely looks like lots of standing about and contemplating, punctuated by brief intervals of frantic activity. Not unlike American baseball (in my modest opinion). Thanks for sharing these images.

You're not wrong   Whilst I cannot comment on baseball,  the idea of spending an entire day ( or even several days for an international "test" match) watching this is not my idea of fun.  The flight to record this bit of the event took 10 minutes, and I ws already bored with the proceedings on the pitch

I didn't go in. Only walked past the gates to see if the match was actually on, before putting the drone up.
