I just received my DJI FPV, and upon close examination, I discovered that the trans-gray shell is cracked, right near two metallic screws. It appears that the screws were over-tightened during assembly. Would DJI replace such part? I have not flown the drone yet and not sure how to proceed.

Don't take a chance as that crack will probably only spread now.  If new, send it back for a new replacement.  

I thought about that but I already purchased a 1-year coverage. Would DJI transfer coverage from one unit to another?
