On the mini 3 Pro ...The frog I am finding that using the direct WiFi transfer from the drone to my I phone 8 very good.

When I do this I always remove the gimbal cover (bit of a faff) and unfold the drone........ I was wondering if others do this or leave it all folded with cover on ?

Would be a mistake to turn on the drone with the gimbal cover attatched, especially if its like all previous gimbal covers where they restrict motion subquently motor overload and can result in burning out the motors or make it weaker, the arms don't matter...

Yes that is my thoughts but I was wondering what others do. There might be some software in the Drone that facilitates this not sure

Hi, there. Thanks for reaching us. We suggest you put off the gimbal cover before you turn the drone on. Besides, the drone can be folded or unfolded during the WiFi Transfer. Thank you.

Put all controllers to one side switched off.

Make sure you DJI Fly app on your phone is the latest or the one for the Mini 3 Pro

Launch the App on you phone, Click on Album.

Switch on your Drone

Click the Icon top left like a lightning bolt on the phone

Your Phone will look for the drone

Once you have done this the first time it is easier and connects with zero hassle

Just tried this with gimbal cover off but folded and all worked well
