Hi all

There a new fly app 1.6.2 in the App Store for iOS

Going to give it a try and see if there is anything new or just optimisation improvements

Just a heads up really

thanks Cauffy.   Lets hope it fixes the auto sync option not working.

Android is still on 1.6.1.

Anyone who has updates got any thing to share with the forum

unfortunately the new the 1.6.2 android version has not been released yet. next couple of days probably

The app on the DJI RC isn't updated via apk, but done as part of firmware updates.

Thanks for the reply. Does this mean that they update in official aircraft firmware update thats handed out to non DJI RC owners or is it a controller only update that goes out to owners of the integrated RC?

Suspect its all packaged into one firmware, so the Mini 3 F/W will come bundled with RC-N1 (as per all other DJI consumer drones) and DJI RC F/Ws.  And the DJI RC's Fly app is bundled in that DJI RC F/W....

...or certainly was on mine, which came with Fly 1.5.99, and attempts to update it in the traditional manner to 1.6.1 failed with storage errors.  Then I applied the firmwares, and that did the app update at the same time.
