Hi

After mobile app update to version 1.6.1 today, there is a green bar showing on the rightmost part of the mobile view (see attached image). I have tried both restarting mobil and reinstalling app, but it didn't help. I used the drone 1 week ago without problem. The green bar only shows in photo 4:3 mode, not photo 16:9 nor video mode. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong and how to fix? Images taken does not show green bar, but stretches image to 4000x3000 pixels.

Newest firmware for Mavic Air 2: 01.01.0720
RC firmware: 04.11.0032
App: 1.6.1

I got help from DJI Natalia via PM to solve this, but shortly after, a new official versjon (1.6.4) came. I don't know if 1.6.4 alone would have fixed this (i.e. without DJI Natalias help), but I assume so.

Hi Neptun, what kind of help did you receive and how was it resolved?  Can you help share so we can resolve as well?

I am having this exactly problem on 1.6.4 on all Mavic 3's and all Air 2S's.  It seems tied to running 1.6.1+ Controller on newer Android OS phones (Samsung S9+ does NOT show On-Screen Display green bar defect, but S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra do).

I am also a bit worried people also implicate crashes and connection loss to this as well, but that may well just be happenstance.  

The green bar and compressed horizontal scaling from the bar though seems widespread across all product lines.

DJI Natalia: You sent me a PM (private message). Therefore I don't know if DJI would be happy if I told about how it was resolved. As you can see above, more people are having this problem, also with newest version of the software. Can DJI please be more open about this problem and help users in general fix it?

I'm glad you guys fixed the AEB 7x zoom bug on the Mavic 3, but this Green bar is still a major issue.  It appears to be across ALL product lines that use DJI Go App........

As I had said, the green bar is not just a major cosmetic nuisance, it is also compressing the horizontal image causing distortion, misleading artistic interpretation.

App updated to 1.6.6, but yet this cannot be addressed?  Can we please address it?  Samsung S21 Ultra is affected which is one of your supported devices.

Samsung S9+ is not affected, which implies maybe it is related to some screen resolution coding limitation??  Or could be also android version (S9+ only goes to Android 10.0 versus S21U and S22U Android 12.0).

Please look into this!  It is widely affecting many users!  thanks.

I have same issue it's only on picture mode samsung s22, all latest firmware and app

I have the air 2s. Got a S22 ultra recently and connected to drone. I am experiencing the same prob..vertical green line on right of display when in live camera mode only. I switched to my previous phone..S9+ and everything was normal.  My DJI version is 1.6.9
Any news on an update fix?

no response on what will happen..hopefully they update their app soon..it's getting annoying

I'm still having this issue too. Updated all firmware and fly app as of 15th Aug 2022. S22 ULTRA and air 2s.

Same problem, downloaded new 1.7.0 version of dji fly and green line on side of screen and scuffed resolution/screen ratio on s22 ultra.

Yeah I updated my system in its entirety 2 days ago and now the mavic air to S has A green vertical stripe going down the telephone screen Galaxy S22 ultra and the FPV goggles also have the same issue going on please sort this out
