Entering a local park the other day to photograph my favourite Oak tree with the Pocket 2, I was given pause to reflect on the current Global crisis by this memorial arch.
It reminded me that the lessons of History have taught us nothing.

Great shot Mr. B.    I tend to disagree with you a bit as I think history has taught us many valuable lessons but we failed to retain the moral of the lessons.  It's very unfortunate but sometimes we have to relearn things the hard way.

Sad, but true.  

That certainly is a thought-provoking sight in these times. There are things that we have learnt from the past and that are better nowadays, but we also have a lot we should keep in mind that we don't seem to have learnt.
