If I try to download videos or photos from drone to the controller SD card, I get a message that is not supported on this controller.

So it's SD card can be used only for cache, remote screenshots and screen recording?

I found this video on YouTube he mentions something about the sd card and what its for. hope it helps

I am informed its only a miserable 480p. Mini 2 is 720p, Mavic 2 pro is 1080p, why do DJI think 1080p transmission and display results in a dismal 480p cached video ?

Yeah, unfortunately that seems to be the case.  Maybe it will change in the future.  

And the RC-N1 doesnt have an SD card.  So assume you are talking about the DJI RC, rather than the DJI RC-N1.

I just received my Mini 3 Pro, still busy with activation, firmware updates etc... and I was asking myself this same question. Thanks for posting the video.
