The Mini 3 Pro User Manual states that FocusTrack is not available when an ND filter is used. Can anyone confirm this? Many of us would want to use ND all the time.

Hello there JerryLaurence. Good day and thank you for reaching out. Just a reminder that the FocusTrack feature of the DJI Mini 3 Pro might not work properly when the ND filter attached is too dark that the camera does not get enough light to track the subject. Thank you.

Thanks for your quick response. Please can you confirm that FocusTrack is NOT disabled when an ND filter is attached? The user manual states otherwise. I understand that too dark an image would prevent tracking but can’t see why it should be disabled with an ND attached.

How to be disabled, man?
Is not a detector of ND in there ) ...
Keep the luminosity in camera at a good range and will work. If you put in sunset a ND32, of course will not work, but as long as you put in full daylight a ND32 do 64 to get SS close to double frame rate, will work without problems.

What it means is that it wont work when *TOO STRONG* and ND is attached as there isn't enough light for it to see.

For the same reasons it doesn't work at night.

Put a sensible ND on and its fine.  The camera doesnt even know you have an ND on.
