I will give some details on the issue and list those below.

- My drone is a Mavic 2 Pro
To approach fixing the issue i have;
- reset the drone to factory settings.
- flashed the firmware (most recent version installed).
- performed the same as above for controller.
- calibrated IMU
- calibrated Gimbal

so the issue itself is that the gimbal rotates fully to the left on the yaw axis but the rotation takes effect at 1.2m which is considered the take off height for dji drones. The issue is only present when running missions for example waypoint missions.
