Hi all, first post

Running into a problem with my new gimble, I had an A7 mk1 that I tried to use, which didn't work as it's not supported apparently, so I bought a new camera which is an A7r MK2, this works and I can take videos, but when using time-lapses, or anything that takes a photo on the camera, it simply just restarts my camera, no warning and then I have to turn off the gimble and turn it on again to reconnect to the camera and this just loops, I don't even get to create what I am trying to do as it happens on the first photo.

any help would be very appreciated as I'm quite honestly thinking of sending it back, not to mention that the app doesn't work on my current phone, and the app isn't even on the google play store.
