This for the RC so probably not, i believe that there is a AC firmware in Beta atm...

Dji have a habit of conveniently leaving out stuff they would rather you not know.

Can people who have the Mini 3 please post what this firmware fixes?

Haven’t noticed any changes.  GPS still says 'Locating..’ on home screen’ .
Strange to bring out an update for a single fix, unless a country had serious issues with the keyboard?

I was hoping this was the update to make it compatible with the Air 2s

i actually agree with that.  dji is not obligated to inform the customer and the world of all existing issues; however, it is good to help the customer know they are improving the product so pick and choose and word it correctly.

... I am amazed by the "big jump" in the numbering!  
Normally for a small bugfix (or for a tiny addition) the software version is not increased in steps of 100...
But well, maybe none of that matters...

There are some big updates due on mavic 3 as well as big improvements to fly app, so I think some of these will automatically fall to Mini pro at least I hope so.

Please make the RC be able to customize the right dial to exposure/shutter control, instead of the digital zoom
It's useless.

Yeah that would be very welcome. The right scroll is effectively a dead control for me.

I've not noticed any differences at all, though being a UK user, I probably didn't suffer the keyboard issues this claims to solve, as I stick to the English keyboard.

Given the app version hasn't changed (1.6.1(1025)), I suspect this was nothing more than an underlying Android patch for said keyboard issues.

Really, 835MB for a keyboard issue only? Who believes that?

Well, one thing I am not doing is to rush and update anything on the Mini 3. Previous experience dictates well enough, leave it alone if working.

Quite right if it aint broke dont fix it...... Same applies to all tech, PC's, Phones etc

I suspect DJI release it as a full F/W flash for the device, rather than a traditional patch.

Many, many would disagree with you on that one.  Certainly doesn't live up to my expectations (which were that it would be as good as, possibly even exceed, the Mini 2 in range)

Yep, the Mini 3 pro is not as good over urban area as my old Mini 2!
Did some more testing today, at 300m i lost signal! When i did fly my old Mini 2 it didn't had any problem at all at the same flying spot!

I’ve just upgraded my RC controller to this firmware - the only difference I’ve noticed so far is the “Shutting Down” screen/loading wheel is no longer popping up when turning off the controller.

For such a big file there is nothing added, I guessing some trickery is afoot

Is anyone had problem's with dji RC sound when watching academy video? My DJI RC had no Sound after firmware upgrade.

Hello, there. Sorry for your inconvenience. Would you please check the audio settings in the DJIRC panel? Please confirm if DJI RC is set in mute mode and check the audio bar also. If the issue persists, would you please record us a video to have look?  Thanks!

I'm delighted it is for you, but many people, myself included, have found that not to be the case, hence the sheer amount of noise about this issue, which does seem to be the most frequent complaint of the drone.

After some "knock" at the back cover, the sound can appear... It seems some wire loosen... Can you give me the tutorial to dissemble the back cover so i can re solder the speaker wire?

Can you post comparable video. I have given my mini2 away to my grandson. I have tested against my air2s and results are the same. I get great distance in open areas with low interference,  where I know there is going to be interference I also get very similar results. And although some are saying its much worse than mini 2 I haven’t seen any video showing this to be the case. If it is then it might be a fault with something.

I have no video of it.
Will do the next time i fly, or make a screenshot.

In open space i get a good signal/connection ( but no way as good as my Mini 2 i sold ).
In urban erea it's as worse as my old mini 1
I did try to fly to a place i could reach with my Mini 2, but the Mini3 pro couldn't reach it........... and stopped at 300M.

Im really looking for comparison that shows Mini2 that much better than Mini 3. I have seen many comparisons that show interference is common to both drones in same locations and conditions. I have found signal to be rock solid. I try to avoid interference areas by flying higher or around the possible interference. If you get much more interference with your Mini 3 then its a problem and I don’t believe FW will improve this. You never know it might , but if it was me I would be talking to dji about it.
