I have a situation where I just sold my Mavic 3 Fly Combo.  I never flew it, it never even left the ground.  I did, however, bind it to my Smart Controller RC Pro, but never to the controller that came with the kit.

When I sold the drone I forgot to remove the Mavic 3 from my profile, but was subsequently able to do so.  The gentleman that I sold the Mavic 3 has told me that the drone can only work with the original RC pro.  

I have never read of this, and the Mavic 3 is definitely removed from all DJI account.  Is it correct that I've effectively locked the RC Pro to the sold Mavic 3 - I would very much like to use the RC Pro with my Air 2S.
