I recorded a Masterhots video in 4k, but is it possible to share or download a recorded MasterShot video in 4k resolution? Unfortunately, it is always saved or shared in 1080p
Hi, I tested Mastershots some days ago and just checked the resulting video that I downloaded from the SD card to my PC. The resolution is 4k (3840 x 2160). Latest firmware.
However, when I export the finished MasterShot in the app, it is only saved in 1080p and not 4k.
Or is there another way to save the finished MasterShot in the app as a 4k export?
Any update? The original 4K mastershot can be exported to the phone in 4K. But, the limitation is that when we “create mastershot” in the app which auto-edits the original footage and adds music, that edited footage is only 1080p and can be only exported as such.
Why not give us the option to choose 4K? I know editing would take longer but that’s on us to choose.

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. The DJI Fly app is required to edit and render the MasterShots videos. Given the performance of most mobile devices, the current resolution for rendered videos is set to 1080p (1920×1080 only. You can still edit the videos and retain the 4K resolution if you use post-processing software. We appreciate your understanding.

I understand that for the most devices 1080p is better but why not giving us the option. I mean Lightcut on same device is rendering 4k video so why limit this for master shots? Would be much better if also master shots have the option for us to choose between 1080p and 4k
