Hi folks, if your liek me and are bothered by notifications when flying, download an app called Macrodroid, with that you can set it up so that when you open DJI Fly or Go  app, it will automatically turn on DND, then create another macro so that when you close the DJI app it will turn off DND.

Granted, you can do this manually, it just save a you having to do it, especially if ya like me and forget...

Nice tip and thanks for sharing Bashy.  Easier to automate, at least that way you don't forget to turn off DND.  

Yeah, for sure, I always forget. plus I believe macrodriod is free, don't quote me on that though, but if anyone needs help setting it up I will write a quick tut for it, it is very easy though.

The other thing to remember, it has a quirk, if you even minimise the fly app, to look at sommat else, the automation thinks it's been closed and will turn off DND, slight quirk, can't get around it, other than that it works great, tried it many times and it works both ways without fault

Ah yeah, my bad, forgot to say android but i spose the an me of the app will give it away. Thats good that IOS can do that without needing another app though...

I always fly in airplane mode, after caching the maps of the area. This avoids any kind of interruption and also reduces the interferences.

It is, it can do a lot, i have it setup so If i shake my phone  it will open up my Ring and then start the live view of my doorbell all in one go
