So I'm pretty sure it can't be done but....

I'm mainly using the mic with the action 2 on the usb-c conection or my iphone on the lightning. I know I can start the backup recording on the mic transmitter button and/or do auto record when i remove the mic from the case.

But you can trigger the camera to record from the transmitters link button, is there any way that could also trigger transmitter recording? so I'm recording on the camera AND the transmitter at the same time, starting at the same time?   

it would make mixing in post so much easier!
