The fifth part of the in-Depp series of Scotland: It's again a bit rainy but getting better. We start on the mainland flying around Morar Loch which doesn't show its full gorgeousness in this weather. Then we hit the ferry Mallaig-Armadale and reach Skye. A long-range sort of mountain dive, the marvelous Fairy Glen, a crazy windy Duntulm Castle, the seasonal no-fly zone Mealt Falls (at least they tell you why: breading birds), the nearby Lealt Falls in light rain that keeps me from flying a bit more fearlessly and finally rainy Sliochan bridge. We skipped the Old Man of Storr because of the rain. Back on the mainland, driving through perfectly "divable" mountain terrain in the rain, we hit Urquhart Castle from the 12th and Beauty Priory from the 13th century. The former a tourist hot spot, the latter a hidden gem.

Hello there Depp. Good day and thank you for posting this beautiful video that you have filmed and created. Great work and thank you for your support. .
Absolutely amazing footage Depp. Quite the history behind the Beauly Priory. Shame you had so much rain on this part of the trip, but that's typical Scotland weather.
Remarkable Depp. Reminds me of my only visit to Skye, about 20years ago. The most memorable part of the trip was the visit to the Talisker whisky distillery near Carbost

Have a great week.
Thank you, Downtown. It's well worth the visit if you get the chance. I guess you have to plan for more than one day if you want to be sure to get Skye with good weather...
Have a great one as well!

My pleasure Depp. I'll definitely get back over to the UK next summer. Going to map out all the castles and locations I want to see in advance so I can work up a good itinerary. Your travels have given me some really interesting locations to put on the list of must sees.
