Have any of you compared the weight of the drone charged compared to flat. When the drone is charged it is quite a bit heavier and is very near the 250g. I am in the UK and was wondering if someone from the US could weigh theirs as I understand UK electricity is heavier that US Electricity

I charge mine with solar power on my yacht, everyone knows Australian solar power is much lighter than UK or US...

Its at 248g from the get go, how much closer do you think it is when its charged?
Try sticking a birthday candle on the front, that should make it a bit lighter.....

Now i understand why i get less range flying 100 to 80 % battert level compared to 80 - 60%.
Less weight is more distance!

OMG, do we need to also take into consideration the weight of the bug guts on the props???? LOL

For sure, especially during spring and summer time.
But on the other side, if the Mini2P is heating up, as we all know, if things are warmer than the surroung air, they will raise upwards like hot air balloons.
So the weight of bug guts and seagull poo will be equallized and don't matter anymore.

Yes I thought that might be the case and will have to check that also. Because things tend to be bigger in the US I suspect they might have the greater issue with the weight of their pictures

I have been researching about the weight of information stored on the SD card. I think if you record video in 1080p you will be ok but if you record in 4K and have a card bigger than 128GB you could well be pushing the limit

I was going to upgrade to a 512gb card but know I worry it will be too heavy too.

Lok, to be serious just for a moment, the weight added to storage devices requires an electronic charge, each electron is something like 9.10938215 × 10−31 kg. That means the weight is immeasurable to the likes of us, weigh an empty 1tb drive, then fill it to the max and weigh it again and it will weight the same unless you used a lab scales.

Pretty much is said for the battery too, example, a 16kw battery, that's
16×1,000×3,600/1017=0.6×10−9 that's half a microgram for a 16kw battery, so our tiny little batteries make no difference in weight that we can measure outside of a lab, you can work it out using the math above but it will be such a small number it's actually laughable....

Every microgram counts to be in line with the sub 250g drone rules as we all like to take a lots of footages and store them on large SD cards.

Mine is in Imperial, I wondered why it was lighter...

The following is probably not well worded but I doubt there is any change in the number of electrons in a battery or memory device during filling, any inflow is matched by an equal out flow. Otherwise there would have to be a  overall flow of electrons in one direction during filling and emptying implying, I think, that only one feeding conductor would be necessary.
If otherwise the 'tank' would surely end up with an electric field around it?

No one has mentioned the effects of gravity.  Weight will be tied to altitude.
