Absolutely beautiful footage.    Those houses are really close together and some built very close to the edge of the cliffs.

Absolutely! EXCEPT...they don't really like drones there. Matter of fact, after I had landed my drone to swap the battery out in Oia, my friend pointed out a sign that said something to the effect of "Please respect the people who live here and do not fly drones." So that was all the footage I could get of Oia. Fira didn't have any of those signs so I think that'll be the place to take your FPV drone!

So, about that. YES. It absolutely is. I didn't want to say it at first, but in all honesty the best thing about Santorini is how it looks in pictures. Oia was one of the most soulless, tourist-overrun places I've ever been in my life. It was like walking around a movie set. That was also in November, which is their off-season when they're doing repairs and stuff. Fira was a little better. Fira had a bit more life to it, but even then, the island was kind of a big letdown.

I honestly don't remember, it may just be one of those things where you click "I accept responsibility for my flying" or something like that. I will say one thing and that's that in Oia they do have signs posted asking you to NOT fly your drone. I didn't see them until after my first pass or two there, but I kept a respectful distance above everyone anyway.
