It is a tourist destination in Yonggung-myeon, Yecheon-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is a de facto island village and tourist destination in the land where Naeseongcheon Stream, a tributary of the Nakdonggang River, rotates 360 degrees. It is designated as a scenic spot and the majority of farmers. Since Naeseongcheon Stream passes by, there are many sandy beaches near the village and it is famous for its beautiful scenery because it shows the topography of the Gamipgokryu River, so it was selected as the 10 scenic spots of Yecheon.
It takes about an hour to go around the village. It is a small village that is not necessary to rent an electric bike at the entrance of the first Ppongpong Bridge. About two-thirds of the village is flat, so it is easy to walk, but the southern part is blocked by the stem of Baekhwasan Mountain, so you have no choice but to walk to fully appreciate the topography of Muldori-dong. The southern hill has a wide flower field, so it is good to take pictures, but there is a mud in the middle of the way up, so it is better to wear sneakers as much as possible.
If you want to see the view of the village at a glance, you can use the observatory on Biryongsan Mountain in the west across Naeseongcheon Stream. If you pass Jangansa Temple and go about 300m, there are two observation decks at intervals of 1km. However, the road to Jangansa Temple is so steep that it is difficult to approach on foot. The composition shown in the picture above is visible only when you go to the second observatory close to Yongpo Village.
The riverside road from Hoeryongpo to Samgang Jumak has a nature-friendly green road selected as the "Best 10 Best Green Roads in Our Village," which is good for walking in the country by the Ministry of Safety and Administration. The white sand beach harmonized with Naeseongcheon Stream, which is shaped around the village, is spectacular.
