isnt that std with DJI updates? :-)

I will wait for the Guinea pigs to update and then after a week or 2 attempt it.

Here also updating rc controller is now 1.6.6(1040-dpad) djimini 3 firmware is 01.00.0150 android version dji fly stil 1.6.4

loaded software, plugged controller in and nothing comes up just a blank screen.  what am i doing wrong?

indeed i was

New features for the custom button and the right wheel.
+ combination of C1 or C2 and the right wheel.
So far that is what I was able to notice, but really nice surprise there and implementation seems even better than people have requested.

Are you using DJI ASSIST 2 (CONSUMER) software?

thanks that worked for me.  confirms it updated via controller

Update went smoothly via WiFi. Thanks for sharing! Button customization is a very welcome update. Catching up with the M3/C very quickly.

Fly App also updated during the process to 1.6.6.

Button customization is a plus.  

WOO-HOO I got my wish.  Button customizations on the controller, so I can do shutter with the right wheel.  

Hope that the Bug with not working POI inside a zone that was approved by DJI with uploaded certificate will work now.... (not instant unlock, but the unlock given by DJI as certificate to be uploaded on RC).

I really hope they fixed the vignetting/darkening problem of the 12MP DNGs.
I'll test that this evening.

Updated   The button customization is great upgrade... So far only thing i noticed

Hopefully they improved as well the range issue some are not tired to continue those boring discussions.

what i noticed gps is very quick, the buttons , dji flight records is on the rc remote you can get it with pc.
Range is the same not good enough. screen recording stil not good

Sadly I can confirm that, that sucks.
I often creates panoramas and that problem ruins everything.

DJI needs to fix the wrong/missing profile of the 12MP DNGs ASAP, this shouldn't be difficult !!!

yeah this is a bigger deal than range for me

Anyone else had the WiFi and bt switching off when firing up the motors for take off?  I use bt for the phone connection for maps it says for improved video transmission

Yet, that's now the default it appears and I'm NOT a fan!

1200m last flight out with no lag, why make off the default makes little sense when you need to tether the tinternet via your phone when using the rc.  Wonder what it'll be when the rumoured dongle makes an appearance.  I usually fly with wifi off & bt on.  Looks like map caching before turning the drone on

I have not updated the firmware yet. Have noticed on a few youtube videos that the distance indicator on the controller isn't as accurate as previous. The distance instead of increasing or decreasing in 1m increments is moving around in 3-5m increments. Is this happening to all updated users?

Not specifically, on the screen recording it looks like it is updating approximately every second when moving at around 5m/s.  Previously it did update more frequently, but once a second is fine for me.

The screen recording resolution is now 960x540, quite a bit better than the previous 720x480.

The advantages of right scroll wheel adjustment, improved RC compass calibration etc, are well worth the upgrade.
No issues discovered so far.

I noticed it automatically turns off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth once you take off to enable better video transmission
