Well, looks like new updates are kind of easter eggs search!
This one brings automatic switch off BT & wifi when taking off.
It also gives many configuration options for wheels & wheels + C1/C2 buttons.

So when will this be compatible with the Air 2s?

I thought it was about the SC... RC is wrong here, isn't it?

Yes, I wonder as well.  Got a notice yesterday on Smart Controller linked to Mini2, that there is a newer version update available, but have read a few posts about Quick Shots not working after update, so I did not update it yet because, I have yet to try the Quick Shots function.  So I'll wait.

Will update RC only, drone is fine and stable and I don't want any nasty surprises.

I updated the Craft update through the Smart Controller by choosing UPDATE in the Smart Controller.  It updated thew craft to 1.05.0000
but left my APP version to 1.6.1.  SO FAR  all that I have tried works well, the speed of turning in Sport has been cut in half to just under 4 seconds for a full 360 degree turn.  
Also Yaw and Ascent/Decent are quicker, for those who fly Sport a lot you will notice the difference.  Left position on the Smart Controller still takes 15 seconds to do the turn,
I would still like slower.I wish a Moderator would let us know if App Version 1.6.6 is for the Smart Controller or not???

Update the RC and it will upgrade the app to 1.6.6.

The update to the RC is in 2 parts. It will hold at 49% while it does the install of the System up[date reboot by itself and then finishes with the App update to complete.

I used Assistant 2 on a Mac do to this..

Nice of you to inform me of that, DJI gave me no notice of that when the Update was started!  Thanks, will see what happens.

Server error. Wait a moment and try again (Error code: -8) This is the message I get every time I try to check for firmware updates with the new Mini 3 Pro RC controller over WiFi. Any suggestions? I was able to update the RC firmware to current version: 01.00.0300 via my cellphone's hotspot connectivity to 4G LTE but this is definitely not convenient.

Did a refresh, and it caught the problem, and corrected it with app 1.6.6  Thank you once again.

never, the Air2 has only OS 2.0
