Anyone use a tablet? What are the lowest spec on cpu ghz? Anyone have a preference on manufacture or what to stay away from?

I use Android tablet. My aamsung s6 lite works fine. My A7 does not work. It starts the app ot connects but a few moments later it crashes.

I have an old (5years) Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (8") Android tablet that has worked fine with every DJI drone I have owned.

SM -T713. It's about 5 years old.

I sometimes use my iPad Pro 12.9 inch yo fly my mini 2.

Well, I purchased a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S6 from Amazon and works fine. On the higher end of specs although it's now considered an older model

Is that the tab A7lite, that didn’t work or tab A7?  I just bought an A7 lite. I will return it if it doesn’t work.

Is anyone using the tab A7 lite by chance?

I am currently using a ipad mini 6 which works very well with both my drones air2/air2s I was using it for now have have ipad mini 6 for both. Was using a 4 but processor was to slow and had over heating problems. Brite sun lite can be but I have a hood for it. I try to sit in shade when ever possible as it helps. They are a little pricey but a lot cheaper than a DJI pro controller and a lot bigger screen. Check around for people trying to sell their old ones and/or close outs. Got my second on at best buy for $700 256gb/wifi/cellular. Love them both!!

Update:
Samsung Tab 6s lite will work fine. I have been using it for about a week or so now.
I just purchased a Samsung Tab 7a lite, first run seem ok without an sdcard in for side apps or storage. After downloading a few apps, with only 1.2 gb left for running the tablet and apps, it ran well. Took ma2 out for about 3/4 mile and all was well. Adding a 256gb card to it later and allotting part of it for internal storage, will help processing/cashe . I will be taking it out for a grand flight this weekend. I’ll let everyone know how it went. If all goes well, I will return the 6s lite and purchase another 7a lite for my second drone on the way. Price difference and a little smaller screen will be a bonus for me. See ya on the other side of this.
