The brick chimney made me wonder if there was a smelting plant there to separate metal from ore.

My word! What a tragedy. Copper mines, yes, but swept away along with the village below by a mudslide after a dam burst. That's awful.

Mine is quite away from the storage pool whose wall broke and killed those people and in between is a great waterfall

Yes, I recognize it from an earlier post of yours.  It's beautiful now.  Nature always regains what was lost, in the end.
