I beleive it's just a ruin - although you can book a tour online

I have some video from the pass through the gorge, and the summit of the Shivering Mountain (Mam Tor) still to edit. The stills were on consecutive days because I went there twice (Sunday and Monday)

Very impressive captures Mr. B.    I especially liked the 5th shot (post 8) as it shows the beautiful valley below the castle.

I just noticed that there is a Post 8 and 10 but no 3, 5,, 7, 9 or 11.  Does this mean that some were deleted or is the forum being a bit glitchey this AM.

I think it was just the keep and gardens within the walls, overlooking the concealed approach to the town through the pass behind,
