Check out Argos they seem to thave the Mini 3 Pro

Can you get after-sales service and/or DJI Care refresh if you buy through Argos?  ( Academic for me, as I've got mine now)

Care refresh will be offered during the activation process and available for a limited time as is usual.  Don't think the 2yr option pops up just the 1yr.

Argos would just replace or refund if you had issues just like any other product they sell. I suspect you bought Heli guy care refresh which is generally cheaper than the DJI one

Yes I did   They're my go-to first port of call in the UK.

Not yet.... it takes a while for the sun to burn it off. I even went up Cracken Edge at 06h00 and the drone got to 80m height before breaking through.

You're a Navigator that thinks outside the box...let's just keep climbing until we break out of the top of this pea soup.  I tried that once with the Air 2S and reached max allowable altitude before I broke through. I got a bit edgy on the way down when the airsense alerted that a plane was nearby.

Pea soup is a bit of an exaggeration. Patchy fog with gaps here and there would be a better description.
I managed to keep an eye on the drone (most) of the 3 minutes total flight time. But it was quickly obvious that nothing useful could be done. So I brought it back down and went home.

Better safe than sorry.  Always nice when the drone survives to fly another day.
