Love that one David. Possibly your best yet of that locale.

Great capture and another good example for the possibilites the vertical orientation of the mini 3 offers (if this was taken by a mini 3; otherwise: good example for editing skills )

Or at least some new props,   if you don't land somewhere really flat it will fall over after landing.

I noticed that mine bounced when landing yesterday morning, on a slight upward slope (tarmac) but I put that down to mist on the downward sensors.  Last night's flight landed without a hitch - but that was a flat surface..  I did surmise, a few weeks ago, that the narrow landing footprint might be a drawback.

As its been quite windy here the last few afternoons I bring it in,  hover in front of me,  switch to sports mode to disable the sensors and then take hold from underneath and flip to kill the props.  Much better than the risk of landing in strong winds.

That's an interesting tip.  I'll try that if I can manage it without slitting my wrist with the props
Just done a morning flight in perfect conditions, over urban sprawl.  Signal issues are about the same as the Mini One and M2Z.  Last evening's flight from the hilltop golf club, I could have far exceeded VLOS in any direction without loss of signal.  One thing I do notice, in any conditions or location, there's a video "jump" or lag every ten seconds or so on the controller (Not manifested on the recorded video though, which is perfect)

I tried it this morning - twice!  Works fine. Sport mode enabled with the drone at shoulder height.
Sneaked underneath but the sensors still drove the drone upward.  I discovered you have to be really sneaky and catch it unawares from the rear. Then it worked a treat.  The motors screamed a protest but then stopped as I twisted it over. Warning message on screen about excessive angle or something - but I guess that can be ignored.
