Cows need to drink too you know.....

Caught this with the Mini3 Pro,    curious that the cows were so close to the water though as Ive see Adders swimming in this pond.

Lovely group capture David. That water doesn't look to healthy for them to be drinking.
I guess the adders would be scared off by so many trampling hooves.

They drink from the muddier ponds too so they don't seem too bothered,  they have troughs too but I've not seen them used by the cattle for a while.

Very impressive top down shot DA.    When you zoom in it looks like the majority of the 46 or so cows are lying down so they must not be afraid of the adders or they are oblivious to any adders.

That's ironic isn't it - they prefer the muddy pools to the fresh water supply

The only thing that worries me about this shot is that there isn't at least one standing slap bang in the middle of the dam.  Good shot though DA.

One for sorrow,
Two for mirth
Three for a funeral,
Four for birth
Five for heaven
Six for hell
Seven for a secret, never to tell
