These days, I use Adobe Premier Rush, which comes as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. I used Premier 2018 with some success but we moved and the DVD is in storage until we can expand our house. I saw another thread today discussing limitations of importing files from a Mini 2 into Premier 2018.
Premier Rush is much simpler to use than most Adobe products, and allows fairly intuitive, quick, and easy video and sound editing. It doesn't have all of the features of Premier Pro, but it's really powerful for casual and semi-intuitive editing. I just completed these videos, both were edited in Premier Rush.
