That would have been a great opportunity to get one of those rain showers you've been experiencing.  Hopefully the fire was extinguished before it spread too much.  

Well, now the Mini 3 has it's own unique aroma.

Never saw any up there Hartmut,  but it did rain on it.

Cheers DT.  Bit of an unplanned event for me.    It rained overnight and I checked on it this morning and it was still smoking a little,  I suspect when it drys out it might catch again.

Luckily the aroma has passed after giving it an airing.  

Well spotted.  Caused by carelessness, do you think?  I hope it burned itself out.

No signs of the coarse,   And this morning after the rain it was still smoking a little, luckily the sun hasn’t come out to play today.

They have a nasty habit of restarting if not thoroughly doused.

Good to know the Mini 3 no longer has a distinct aroma to it.

cheers Wombat,    Ive flown through smoke like this before so far its not been an issue.   Mini3 does throw a warning about loosing its vision system when it can't see anything,   much like flying at night.
