Cheers DT.  The section with the algae is a breeding area for birds that’s man made so it stays wet when the tide is out.   The canoes are in the water around the island.   If you recall the Montys lookout shot it’s the same place.

I like the composition and the natural pattern - did you have a dry spot to stand on?

Here's the shot.   In the. back corner of the lake part is Monty's lookout,  a bird hut erected for Monty who raised a lot of money for the area.
