Independence Day, the 4th of July, is big on fireworks in the USA.
Mavic 3, with its manual controls on both primary and secondary cameras, can be a contender for shooting this type of festivities.
Naturally, flying *through* or *above* the fireworks would be against FAA rules but simply being able to do 5-sec exposure is nice enough.

What are your plans for this year? Special techniques? Do share!

Thanks! It was an old ground-based frame, DSLR, tripod, etc.

Is it not 8” SS on mavic 3 ? I don’t have mine close just now but the more scope the better. I suppose wind could be a problem the longer SS used . Below all shot SS 3” to 14”

Yes, M3 has upto 8 sec. 5 is what I would recommend for a single bust/volley.

I was planning on capturing some of my neighbors fireworks with my Mavic 3 and one of my neighbors really goes all out but I didn’t even think about doing some long exposure shots so I think I’ll do that.

I think if its calm and you start to shoot on the whistle then 8 seconds could work. I would recommend trying from 3/8 , but also try having some foreground in your photos. Good luck to all Americans on July  4th

M3 does not allow bulb mode. 8 sec can be an overkill. Five is a very save bet. But one can sure play.

You can totally use M2 for videos and M3 for long exposure.

Yes - Syncing isn't real important as you never here the bangs right away because your a bit away from the explosion.
