I just got done updating everything and I can tell you if flies even better!  I was having no issues really with the 1.2.6 other than a few lost signal but this one works flawlessly!  Not to mention I am getting much better range!  Anyone else experiencing that?

you need to update with the device you fly with and all should work well...on the log issu...mark your flights as favorites and sync again that should do it...!!! ;-)

Yes you can update the controller and phantom and fly on android  with out the new "soon to be released" android app.
  I did and it flew with no problem at all. Then again I was among the lucky gang who didn't problems previously except for the tilted horizon

I keep all my firmware past and present on the micro sim card...in the bird...dir structure as follows from the root inward...new folder I call mine...firmware...new folder the next one I name ...old_updates...new folders that I name...per versions...I put a copy of all my successful updates in there own folder....that includes the new version that I just upgraded to today...all files including the auto generated text files per upgrade...I can run any version I need or want...just-say-in...I leave a copy of all files to the version I am running on the root for the hard ware...aircraft...RC...barriers...to access as I use them...and to keep the RC and aircraft happy...Remember that this is how I fly and if you try this on your equipment it is at your own risk...as there are some that have told me that it can`t work and that you must fly with only the bin file on a freshly formatted sim card...!!! ;-)

One guy posted a support email that said B RC's do not need this FW update.
A bunch of people on another forum are posting they can not get their B RC's to update.

Yup same here vps issue resolved good job dji now I finally turn in vps and it works good.hopefully other pilot will have no issue.

I can't get my RC to update. I've tried updating via direct usb, through the app, and through the gimbal via micro usb.

I'm also not sure if my aircraft updated correctly. It spat out the following txt file below. I deleted the txt file and it generated the same file. Why would it say it the microSD has the same/older firmware as P3X_FW_V01.02.0006.bin, when the card only has P3X_FW_V01.03.0020.bin?

what you are doing is just fine as long as all your fw binfiles are in folders and not in root directory. the only fw bin file that should be in root directory is the one you want to use and update to!!

any news on when android users will get the new Go pilot app.

Just had an email this morning from DJI Support saying that it will be released in the near future, does not say day, weeks or months!

I interrupted new version update at the time when they are not of the light lamp to drone.
After that I wanted to restart update but the sound of the battery is running wild and nothing happens.

Is there a possibility to reset the drone?

Mmmm.. First off, for others, NEVER INTERRUPT THE FIRMWARE UPDATE! It can take 20-25 minutes and during this time will go through various cycles and light sequences ( and no lights ). I posted a video showing the complete cycle..

As for the problem now... When you say the battery makes a noise when you try again, if this AFTER powering everything off?

What you can try is format the SD card and put the firmware on it again and try the update again. If it still does not work, try the same thing with another battery if you have one.

I was able to update my RC. What I did was reformat my USB drive as FAT32 (it was exFAT before) and the update finally went through. I know the instructions say exFAT works, but try FAT32 too. Hopefully this helps someone else out.

PS. I love the new update! so many new features in the Go app. This s a huge improvement over the previous app.

Same question as quasimodo: since the android app of DJI GO isn't available yet...does anyone know if firmware 1.3.20 will work with the DJI Pilot app on android? Is it OK to upgrade Phantom 3 Pro to 1.3.20 or should we wait until DJI Go is available for android?

Question. I updated the P3P, remote and batteries with NO trouble! Calibrated the IMU, gimbal, compass. But, I start the RC calibration and it never finishes. Tried an iPad and my iPhone. Won't finish the calibration. I can kill the app and relaunch and it flys great. Any idea why I can't calibrate the RC? I am going to do the Inspire tomorrow and home it goes just as smoothly.

I believe it's compatible.  I looked at an IPAD Air 2 today and was tempted for about 10 seconds..  I just can't stand to buy anything apple, let alone spending $600+ for a new tablet just for my P3.  I hope the android version is released soon and performance is better.

I'd like some feedback on this issue - got my phantom 3 advanced a few weeks ago, flew 3 times using my acer iconia tablet running android 4.4  Now, after my last flight I saw the upgrade so I installed the new 1.3.20 firmware on the phantom. all ok. then I tried the controller and no good. So then I upgraded my tablet to DJI GO as it was available(version 2.0.1) and the screen shows up nice then it says unfortunately DJI GO has stopped...So I uninstalled/installed it about 6 times with the same results (nothing). Just for shits and giggles I tried to upload DJI GO to my samsung s5 phone which uses android 5.0 and everything came up great, got the controller updated and for the first time saw the blue light. My issue is do I have to go out and buy a new tablet with android 5.0 minimum or will there be a fix for my tablet which runs android 4.4, because the DJI website says you need minimum android 4.1.2? I don't have a lot of money to keep going out and buying tablets and my wife won't let me use the phone for flying( shes says only calls and txt..lol, women)

Yeah, Right!, I have no videos stored to my Library to even see Director, My Locations just says "Map Loading", no location. In my Flight Record-No favorates, just blank boxes, such a wonderfuls new App!
Anyone have any info on how to get these working on a Android device? Everything else seem to work okay in Groundstation , but I cannot even earn points they bragg about because in my LV rating it goes down instead of up! 150 flights with nothing to show for it but my SD Card!
