I bought the Mini 3 Pro + RC and followed the instruction via video on the RC.

  

- The RC could be upgraded without any problems

  

- Registration at dji.com without problems

  

The Drone has in the delivery state V01.00.0002. The first update attempt was with the RC to V01.00.0201 (Isn’t possible chose the version on RC for the drone). After several attempts, I tried to install with the Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) on  Windows 11 and 10 with the individual V01.00.0201, V01.00.0150, V01.00.0100 one by one, but with the same result. Doesn’t upgrade with different error. (DJI Mini 3 Pro: Update failed (1.2.6) / Update failed: 0x027a4c.  A firmware/hardware reset didn't help’s either.

  

I saved the logfiles from the drone (all logfiles have the same errors):

Logs between the errors was status ok

  

Firewall and Virusprogram off , tried with Win10 / 11, different USB-cable too

  

DJI online accepted the serialnumber and thus CareRefresh

  

Any ideas?

When everything probable doesn't work, I try the improbable.

I would try all this using ANOTHER PC (preferably connected to the network via cable).

1) install Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) and login with your DJI credentials
2) Connect the Mini 3 PRO (preferably with a different cable) and open FILE EXPLORER to see if Win11 sees the memory cards (this normally installs appropriate drivers)
3) If there is no problem, TURN OFF THE DRONE WITHOUT DISCONNECTING THE CABLE;
4) Open Assist2.....after loaded, turn on the drone and try to update (first in the firmware scale that appears - try the latest firmware soon)

I did exactly as you described, but the same error and termination at the same point.  (2 different computer , 6 different usb cable, ...)
I can see the memory card and the internal memory in the Windows Explorer

With the software DJI Assistant (Consumer Drones Series)
Transfer 100%
Updating
        21% Neustart OK
        66% Error DJI Mini Pro: Update  failed. (1-2-6) Upload Error log / V01.00.0201 / Update failed: 0x027a4c

It's failed also at 66%
and the logs as above

I'll call DJI support on Monday.

The drone has a hardware error and exchanged for a new drone.

Status update, please?  I too am experiencing the same problem.

I called DJI Support and explained the error and the log files. They told me there was nothing i can do. I should either send the drone back to the supplier or if that impossible should send the drone to DJI. I send it back and now I have a new one. This drone works from the beginning.

I got the same errors regardless of the method (RC or software DJI Assistent 2 - consumer droned series) of installation.
