Sadly just posting videos of other's issues will not help your cause, at all. If folks haven't learnt by now that DJI is not going to do anything then you never will, the reason they will not help is because there is nothing wrong.
You need to make sure the DJI RC's compass is calibrated or if using the N1 rc make sure your phone's compass is calibrated, to check, in the Fly app Live View screen, enable the Flight Attitude Radar, send the drone 100m away making sure you can still see it, point the top of the RC (spot-on) at the drone, look at the FAR, does it match what you're seeing with the drone, i.e. is the RC indicator lined up with the drone, it is, the point of the arrow should be lined up right at the drone and it should be green. if its pointing away from the drone then the compass in the RC or your phone needs calibrating (not the drones compass).
Once the compass is right, you will be able to use the FAR to make sure you are always perfectly aligned on the horizontal plane, the vertical plane will need tweaking the further away you are, if you're about 1500m away then the RC should be pretty much flat in your hands, its not a comfortable position to be holding the RC but thats just the way it is, the Mini 2 was the same, it just wasn't so picky with a perfect alignment closer in.
My offers stands, if you're ever on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, let me know beforehand and I can meet up and help you achieve the best possible range.
FYI, when on the limit of the signal, slowing the drone right down to a crawl will improve the signal, the steeper the pitch angle the worse the signal becomes. |
