Hi I've just realised my Mini 2 is stuck in 1080p. When I switch to pro mode or touch the bottom right hand of screen, the fps and res have no options?

Does the videos look good on media players? Or view them on a video editor to check how they look.

May we please know what is the model of the mobile device that you are using please and kindly please try to uninstall an reinstall the DJI Fly application ( https://www.dji.com/dji-fly ) to see if the issue will still persist? In addition, please sync all of your flight records before uninstalling the DJI Fly application on your mobile device for you not to loose your previous flight information. If the issue persist kindly please try using a different recommended mobile device for us to be able to isolate the said issue. Thank you.

Hi I'm using iPhone X. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same thing.

I've also tried doing it on an iPhone 7. Same issue.

Same issue here.  I've seen multiple people report it.  I've tried on multiple Iphones and and android, both with 1.6.8 and 1.6.9.  The issue persists.  The only workaround I've seen someone offer up that works is to use Litchi to change the resolution and then when you go back to DJI Fly, the resolution is set to what you set it at in Litchi.  I've not verified this, as I'm not willing to spend money yet to fix a problem that is clearly on DJI's end.

It's frustrating. So far DJI support has been hopeless with suggestions by email. Does switching resolution and fps also work with Maven Ap? I'm thinking of buying it. I agree I don't want to pay money for Litchi.

Glad to hear! Yeah it's a simple fix but for some reason you can't find the info from them online anywhere.

Here is the fix for those still having the same problem.

1. Download and install the DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer edition from
    https://www.dji.com/au/downloads/softwares/dji-assistant-2-consumer-drones-series

2. Open app and agree to let it through firewall. The app will open as shown in image 1
3. Power on Mini 2. Drone must be powere on before connecting to PC or MAC.

4 Connect USB C port on drone to USB port on MAC or PC.

5. The DJI Mini 2 icon should now be displayed in the top left of the DJI assistant as shown in image 2

6. Click on Drone Symbol.

7. The firmware screen will be displayed as shown in image 3. If you haven't got the latest firmware upgrade to latest firmware. If you have the latest firmware try refreshing firmware. If still no video options try downgrading firmware.
