I have to say that Im impressed how good things look at night with the Mini3 and the new controller.

What an amazing shot DA.    For a low light shot it did a great job of capturing lots of details.  

Did you do much work in post?

The sitting frog - looks nicer to me without the distortion. Lovely coloring of the lights.

That was taken at 21:47 so still not fully dark.

Id only sent the drone up as there was an explosion and some smoke coming from a derelict house down the road,   SHMBO'd said it was a firework but I wasnt sure.    No signs in the end what the cause was so she was probably right.

I'm not sure what the evening street lighting here would produce. I'll have to try it sometime.

You're most welcome DA.    Very impressive for being shot on Auto.  

I'm not a big camera buff and still struggle with trying to use manual settings.  My daughter, who is really good with photography, tried to teach me all the terms and what each setting does but for some reason I just struggle with it.  Hence, why I shoot mostly in Auto.  

Maybe I need to sign up for one of those adult education classes given in photography.  Then again I'd probably just fall asleep in class and not learn anything.

There's one next to the Archimedes screw, and another further along the trail. Otherwise the Torrs would be pitch dark at night.

Sounds like you just need to send the drone up one night for a look about and see whats what.

Guess I've started using more of my time on scuba diving over flying time.  I just need to focus a bit more on flying and trying to figure out all this stuff.

Wow, 500 miles already.  You are definitely getting your money's worth out of that drone.  Bet the M2P and the Mini 2 feel a bit left out.

There's a good chance,   going to head down to the moorings and see whats happening at high tide this morning so will probably fly a couple of batteries.

Hopefully, you'll be able to capture some cool footage at the moorings.  If the weather is nice should be quite a few people out and about, maybe even some crazy boaters.
