when will be the release date of the new DJI GO-App for Android?

Is it possible to use the new Firmware v1.3.20 with the old DJI Pilot APP 1.2.0 for Android?

I don't see why not.
If you are on 1.19 then wait for the 1.26/1.28 users to update as they are the ones experiencing the VPS issues.
Wait about a week or so and read the forums to see if there are any further issues. If the pros outweigh the cons then do the update..

I'm would also like to know when the updated Android app (DJI Go) will be available.

Is it currently with Google for approval?
Is it still under development?

i suspect they are working something out as they could post it directly on there site rather than wait for google to approve, could be wrong though

The old version works just fine. I was able to do 2 - 20 min runs with my p3- pro on a  galaxy s4  without any issues. I have learned that a lot of the freeze ups on the app are more related to over heating of the phone or tablet. I  restarted my phone shut everything down then flew it yesterday. The temp was around 75 f  and not signal loss.

Having an issue with matching up with my controller and my Inspire 1 using an android tablet and no android GO-App.  Lucky I also have a I-pad mini which perfectly with both my Phantom 3 Professional and my Inspire 1. Like the rest I'm waiting for the android GO-App version. I don't pick up as much noise in the video using my android Nvidia Shield tablet as I do with the Apple I-Pad mini.

My controller and inspire 1 won't link with the new firmware and no android GO- App. I'm now using my I-pad mini until the android version is out.

Any estimate date of when the GO for android will be released?
