I have the exact same terrible satellite resolution on my RC controller when trying to view flight data in Satellite mode.

my rc won't even let me use satellite during flight.

Adding to the opinions. DO NOT purchase the RC controller until you see somewhere that they have fixed the poor satellite map issue. I debated, spent the extra money for the controller... I am SO SORRY. What a compete waste of money. DJI should include a warning/illustration so others don't waste their time and money.

You also have to bare in mine that not every one buys the RC for its maps. the sat maps on my RC won't even load, and i'm still alive but i'll Complain to DJI about it.

How long now? 6 months? Another year?

My Contact at Maptiler promised detail update of some countries or regions.

Maptiler has now updated the satellite image base to 1.2m/pixel for Germany (and maybe other regions, please check), here you can see the significant update in my region.






RC Controller works now for me with this update
