Abandoned Mušov's church of st. Linhart  is located at top of hill (now island) in flooded area of Věstonice dam. There was a village a 40 years ago which was removed due to building of this dam.

That would be a lovely little island to visit by small boat.

Thank you for these words! I agree... Anyway, it's in the Czech Republic, in Central Europe.  And the island is forbidden to visit. It's a protected area because of the birds... A drone is the only option. This was taken from about 40m up and away from the island - with zoom. I didn't want to scare the birds

Thanks..   There was a village around this church, 40yrs ago. Then, when dam was started to build the church on this hill was only building which was preserved (now it's island,). The village is now flooded by the dam.

Ahh . . . an irrigation project.  We had the same thing happen up North of here, but the church was not on a hill, and is now covered, but you can see some of it from a boat.  Thank you for the video and information.

What an extraordinary place.  Nicely done with the drone video. It reminds me of the villages of Ashopton and Derwent, near here, that were drowned in the newly-created Ladybower reservoir in 1945.

Super cool. Great video. The Mini 3 is my first done and I keep stuggling with am I actually going to use it.. Your video reminded me why I wanted it. To get to those spots / shots that I can't get with a traditional camera!
