did you have to register your drone due to local law? are there any other obligations in Greece?

It is not local law. It has to be registered according EU law  https://www.easa.europa.eu/

I meant about registrating drone / flight not an operator its the same in whole EU

I found this link but there are no details abut Greece at the moment

I found there are some additional obligations in Greece elsewhere, you have to ask for a permission to fly above and further than 50m

Bez uzyskiwania specjalnych zezwoleń można latać do wysokości 50 metrów i 50 metrów odległości poziomej. Po uzyskaniu zezwolenia można latać do wysokości 120 metrów i do 500 metrów odległości poziomej.
