What is the use case of Payload Mode can abyone tell me? As far as i know its just cut your distances allowed.. What is the point?

Prop guards are only intended for indoor use thus the reduced range,  outside they can catch the wind,  and often people think they are good for trees and bushes but thats not usually the case as the twigs can easily poke through.

For additional reference there is no specific amount of weight that is available to enabled the payload mode, once the DJI Mini 2 detects that there is a payload attached, the DJI Fly application will automatically show you the message about payload mode. Also, it is safe to fly in payload mode as long as you use the DJI recommended accessories on the DJI Mini 2. Thank you.
