I like taking master shots with the Mini 3 Pro but seagulls don't seem to feel the same. I just took this master shot of a beach bar in Westgate near Margate for the owner and it took 2 minutes.
The seagulls and swifts did not like it at all and for the automated 2 minutes they were mobbing the drone. That was a real bum nipper for sure. I had my thumb hovering over the pause button but stuck it out and got the shot........Very scary for sure

Yes the wildlife can be a bit of a problem. I had my Mavic Pro swarmed by a flock of Pelicans.

Hello there Bigplumbs. Good day and thank you for sharing this interesting aerial video that you have filmed.  Just a reminder that birds are part of our environment and I'm sure they're not familiar to the drones that is why they react aggressively when they notice it. Again, cool video and please fly safe always.

You know there are over 50 species of Gulls and "Sea" is not one of them.

I know some weird Twitcher told me that years ago and he is right but................... We all know in the real world they are all Sea Gulls or alternatively flying Rats

Nice job. All those birds must have been camera-shy though?  Or have you edited those bits out?

Just go to an area with no seabirds and get higher than the trees. All you have to do is sit back and watch it do its thing

Sea Gulls are nothing, come to Australia where we have the Magpie. When nesting season, these birds will grab the drone and bring it down. We have had cases in Australia where they have even caused human death and loss of eyes . Very aggressive bird.

We also have magpies but not quite as vicious

And so I took the excercise on another Dawn Raid this morning, and had to cling onto the Trig Point to avoid being blown away.  No droning. Just a quick clip with the pocket2 before retreating back home for a hot beverage or two,

You can do it at home just get about 40 - 50 m high. Keep you thumb on the pause button if you get worried.  I know how you feel I was the same for the first one but they are fine honestly
