Judging by the shadow of the drone nearby, that's a model aircraft?

  I might have believed it had there been a wing hanging off, or if it was crumpled.
Great chance spot anyway.  Was it just a flyaway do you think? Landed and not yet found?

I went down and recovered it,  looks like it came down into the water and then washed up there,  there is a flying club near by so probably came from there.

Nice shot of the downed RC plane DA.    Had me fooled for a minute until I happened to see the drone's shadow and made a size comparison.  Still, it is an interesting find.

Well I'm off to the start of an interesting weekend.  My grandson  asked me to watch his dog this weekend as he is going out of town.  Haven't "babysit" a dog in a long time.    She has been on the boat several times and is very docile so shouldn't be too hard of a task.  Best thing is she is trained to bark twice when she needs to go out for potty time.

That’s a clever dog.   We’ve got warning here not to walk the dogs as it’s too hot for them.  By Monday it’s set to be 100f here.

She is only a year old but quite the dog.  Clever but very inquisitive also.  

Appears the rains are ending this weekend as they are predicting high 90s to low 100s all next week.

Nice shot! I'd love to have a mini3 to just explore stuff and fly really far without much worry to lose it
