Halo
I've made another vid. I dont know why but i see some skidding frames on it, do you know why? I've exported it in variable bitrate - may it be the purpose?
Ive tried to not make jerky moves but it is still an issue for me i had to delete and cut some fragments.
Ive tried to take only nice footage instead of tones of material, but editting took me 3-4 hours prevoius vid i made in 20 minutes, i dont know why, its a little bit longer and i had more cuts to combine and used most of them i have te rethink it
Another think for me to improve is not shoting just where i started but to find nice spot, there are some cuts where i was trying to show train depot but half of the screen is occupied by starage roof.
Im glad to hear your opinions about, its not "just enjoy it" yet, but still you can find some nice views i think
I've posted constant frame (24fps) video too, i think its a little bit better, but not perfect, 60 fps video should eliminate that problem? How do you think?

I see what you mean about the jerkiness. It's an annoying distraction, isn't it. Have you tried a different frame rate (FPS)?
no but i will, ill also check the root videos if they are smooth or not, i discovered this skidding today, after final editing i was editing yestarday night so could be sleepy

If the original footaage is smooth, but the edited result is jerky, it could be something to do with the timeline framerate. For example I once shot at 24FPS and tried to edit it to 25FPS. That resulted in a micro-jump every second throughout the video.
Constant framerate 24 fps on 2nd video made a diffrence, 36sec - for example
i have chacked root videos and they are not skidded, but some of them are a little bit blurry
Ill replace this vid to constant framerate than, maybe videopad is not a perfect tool i have to check other programs

I use the FREE version of Davinci Resolve, by BlackMagic Design.
It's a full-function version for non-commercial use, and it's very powerful.
But it's a steep learning curve. I'm still on the lower slopes

Remember to keep the timeline in the same framerate (or a equivalent) as the original footage.
Otherwise you will get frame skipping.
(unless your editor allows for slowing it down exactly the right amounts of frames).
So when you shoot in 30fps, you can't simply put it in 24fps or 25fps.
If you do that, it will keep the footage the same duration and simply drop frames unevenly.
The most easy example is when you have footage that is shot at 30fps and you edit in 25fps
The editor will drop 1 out of every 6 frames to make this work.
The common of 30 and 25 divider is 5, so lets make it 5 groups.
So the 30fps footage looks like this 123456-123456-123456-123456-123456 for one second of footage.
Now the 25fps footage will only have 5 frames per group 12345-12345-12345-12345-12345, so your editor will skip 1 out of every 6 frames.
This will make for very small skips in your footage (and it works the same when you change to other framerates. (with different numbers of course)
The only thing that can work, is using double or half the framerate (50-25 etc.)
Some editors alow for matching the framerate of the footage to your project's framerate. This will slow down (or speed up) your footage to the exact right percentage. (and won't give these skipping)
i was exporting variable framerate via Wideo Pad Editor, being sure its proper due to possibility of changing/ testing fps by me but i experienced skidding issue
Do you know how to check the framerate of the cut?
Now i record constant fps all the cuts

If you are on windows, it's a simple right click and then 'details'.
My editor also shows the framerate of the footage.

i think i was trying that (WIN), ill check again, ohh i a have old win 7
Looks like the forum has a problem right now.
IT should be the last option under video.
Also you can add it in the explorer columns (framerate) when you are in 'details' mode
