Windy day today but took the Mini 3 Pro out in the scrub along the border of the Murray Sunset National Park, far north west Victoria, Australia.

The Mini 3 coped well in the strong wind except the "rocket" shot when it went up around 80-100m upwards and got a bit blown around.

Still learning and still enjoying.

Only the one hiccup when up high.

Yes I noticed the couple of jumps in the middle, was all.  Otherwise, smooth as you like.

I was surprised how stable it actually was. Next time I’ll have to take my anemometer with me.

I just use the "wig" test.  If I get out of the car and my wig blows off, I don't deploy the drone

Nicely done.    

Despite the winds, really impressive job.    An handheld anemometer is good for ground level wind measurement but it can't predict winds aloft, especially the higher you ascend.  I always check out UAV Forecast but that can be off a bit also so I only use it as a guide.
