I should have taken these before i did the range test as the sun was only half up, looked great through the trees over yonder, i wanted to get the test done before it got much above 13C, anyhoo, i works with what i have, stupidly i forgot to set to JPG+RAW, so i the 12mp is straight from the drone except for me shrinking it for here, the 48mp was fiddled with in windows own picture manager as photoshop wouldnt have done any better i don't think...

Thanks, I think the 12mp has the better colour, had the 48 been in raw then i think it could have been a great image

I thought the first one had better colour, but was rather dark.

Yes, that's a shade better (pardon the pun)  

I have made this mistake too of not shooting in both but my lesson learnt will always have jpeg and RAW as default. I'm voting for number 1 :-)

There's fair bit to go through when setting up, I just missed it, only realised when there were no dng's, it will be on the next time, hopefully I will remember lol

So true! good news is once set it stays :-)

If you find you get weird colour artifacts in the 48MP or 12Mp for that matter Topaz Denoise does wonders. Hopefully the start of many?

Thanks, good to know, the track is still a little purply further up, it was worse than that, quote pronounced, but the edits reduced it some.

I've seen that with the Mini 1 too I think shooting into the sun like that definitely amplifies it, quite hard to get rid of. I have used cloning in "Colour" or "Hue" blend mode and can do wonders, keeps the detail but changes the colour, just as long as you have normal colour track to copy from.

Yeah, if needed there a few workarounds, they take time, so would need to be a decent shot, although, today's image ain't what I would call rubbish, just wasn't in raw so more work would have been possible, nay mind lol

Thanks, oh before I forget, the screen is smaller than the smart controller, not by much but it is in both directions, I bot a screen protector for the smart controller cause someone said they were the same, a while back in anticipation, it was before any were out for the mini 3,it didn't fit at all lol

I think its the bezels on the smart controller are larger the actual viewable screen is the same.

Thats the time i get up, normally go back about 5 but whilst its hot i stay up and open all the windows and stick fans in them to either bring in the cooler air or send out the warmer air, depends in the breeze or flow of air, works well, then everything gets closed, windows and thick curtains when the sun comes round (I'm south facing), the once its hits about 700w/m2 its enough for the solar panels to allow me to turn don't he AC and get free cooling, all this for the 3 hairy dogs lol currently 34.1C and about an average of 22.5C inside, for now, it will slowly rise in side but not the door is closed it should settle, its all fun and games here lol
