I just found an interesting video about Lipo batteries and how to charge and store them safely.
As i have a similar setup with an amo box, Lipo safe bags, fire extinguisher and a smoke alarm since i started with Lipo batteries, i thought it might also be interesting for all.

I have read several times that people are still not aware of Lipo Safety Bags or just don't care, but keep in mind, that even DJI intelligent flight batteries could fail and can cause a  fire !

Additionally to the specific fire extingisher metioned in the video, a bucket with sand might help to kill a  burning Lipo fire as well.

There are also specific Lipo Safty Bags for any kind of DJI intelligent flight batteries like those for the Mini 3 Pro.

I charge my Lip batteries for my racing cars as well but never ever leave them unattended, guess I trust my Dji batteries more but seems that I need to invest in some Lipo bags.

Does no harm to be reminded of this occasionally.

Seems unlikely, unless there is a short or you short wire them

All of my FPV Quads lipos are charged and balanced with BMS equipped chargers and
also never ever leave them unattended while charging. Keeping them also in a good Lipo Save bag is advisable. Store at 50~70% will keep them healthy.

But in the Mini Pro 3 there are no Li-Po's no more am i correct?
Li-po's are better performig in lot temperature conditions, wthat why important for me

M3P battery is Lithium Ion Polymer.

im getting a bat-case as well.

Could it have been anything to do with his heavier electricity?

I have thought about this on and off but always but off getting any form of LiPo safe products soI havent bothered and i dont know if i really need to, i only use DJI and i don't fly, well, haven't for a few years now, so travelling ones i don't feel are needed,

If i do store them in a "safe bag/box" the likelihood of forgetting them is high, for me anyway.

So those with DJI only, what do you do?

I suspect it was a low quality product.   There may have been a short circuit or something and the safety circuit failed and didn't kick in.

We have Lipo batteries everywhere, and almost no one has any of the safety system he has.
We would be in big trouble if these batteries catch fire left and right.

Looking at them, they looked a bit Mickey Mouse'ish, prob had no safety in them at all, el cheapo from erm, well, ya know where from lol

I put my batteries in a lipo bag when I travel. Its basically a velcro pouch made of fire proof material.
