I finally rolled back to 1.1.8 a few days ago - thanks to help from posters here.  Finally flying smooth again after 2 months plus months waiting on a DJI firmware upgrade.

I've got my maps back, don't have to disable any apps to fly (google play), etc.

And then, new FW announced today from DJI - ?  

I think I will wait until the jury convenes and publishes a verdict before updating to the latest.

Info on fixes with the latest update are almost non-existent from DJI.  However, the new features abound.

1.1.8 is working fine for me, as it did before.

Updates after 1.1.8 made my P3 unstable and scary to fly (IMHO).  At least for me - many without issues though.

Any thoughts on this approach?

I thought 1.19 was the last stable update for many P3 user?
Did the new DJI GO app allow you to downgrade to 1.18?

Brand new P3P owner (but longtime RC plane and 'copter flyer).  Unboxed today, loaded the very latest IOS app, and upgraded controller and aircraft firmware successfully to 1.3.20 according to the logs on the SD card.

Totally having "Weak RC Signal" issues -- even standing 3 feet away from the P3P outdoors.  Googling this condition shows a lot of other owners seeing the same problem.  I'm too new to DJI to have a very strong opinion, but you might want to wait until there's a consensus on 1.3.20 breaking communications.

Downgrade done prior to the new release.

If you are happy with 1.1.8 then leave it alone

I've noticed that turning on Airplane Mode solves the issue of weak RC signal.
