With the new DJI RC, there is a constant need to transfer photos and videos to your smartphone. I usually do this between shoots, for example in the car on the way to another location. Leaving a working gimbal in protection is not correct and dangerous for the motors, however, leaving the drone without gimbal protection is also not safe.
It would be great if the guys from DJI added a function to automatically turn off the gimbal when you turn on FastTransfer mode.

And on the same topic, if the drone has a connected USB cable while being powered on, only turn on file transfer. The drone must not be unfolded, gimbal protection can be left on.
